Make the most of Ai
We all know what it’s like to feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day, right? This certainly has been our experience this year, so in the spirt of trying to make everyone’s lives easier and less stressful, we have started using Ai for some of our more ‘mundane’ daily tasks.
Being marketers who pride ourselves on a strategic bespoke approach, hence implementing this hasn’t been an easy process and we are nowhere near the stage where we trust the platforms completely. Instead, we are treating it like an up-skilling process of sorts where refinement and investigation will be on-going.
Save time, do it online
Using platforms like ChatGPT to create content for your business comes with several benefits, but there are also some potential pitfalls to be aware of.
Here's our thoughts….
The good stuff:
Saves time: Speeds up content creation
Fresh ideas: Brings new perspectives and formats to keep content interesting
SEO: Helps craft keyword-friendly content if required for a blog, website, etc
Fits your style: Can adapt its tone to match your brand voice, whether that’s casual or formal
Great for brainstorming: Can really help with initial ideas or polishing drafts
The not so good stuff:
Lacks expertise: Doesn’t always nail the specifics or show industry know-how.
Can be generic: Without clear guidance, the content might feel a bit “blah” and robotic (duh!)
Not always creative: It’s solid but won’t wow you with clever storytelling or humour
Needs tweaks: You’ll still need to edit it and have good prompts to make sure it’s just right
Too much AI?: Relying on it too much might make your brand feel less personal
Fact-check needed: Double-check for errors or outdated info before hitting publish
So is it worth it?? We think so…and at the end of the day, it’s here to stay so, we may as well embrace it and make the most of it right?! Ai platforms are great for quick content creation and brainstorming ideas. But to get the best results, it’s important to use them wisely—adding your own creativity, accuracy checks, and personal touches to keep your brand voice authentic. Did we use Ai for this?? Yep we sure did…..we created bullet points for the article, carefully briefed Chat GPT and refined the outcome. Blog created in half the time, job done!
