The team behind a
brand
Finding the time to think up ideas for social media posts, newsletter articles or blogs can be so daunting and in the end, it becomes so easy to just put it at the bottom of the ‘to do’ pile.
What if we told you it actually isn’t that hard, you just need to look at everyday things a little bit differently. People LOVE to see behind the scenes of what you do - seriously they do! Even the most simple of things that you and your team (if you have one) do everyday is interesting to your audience, you just need to remember to capture it on camera.
Turning everyday moments into marketing gold
To create super easy content, here are some of our favourite office ideas that showcase the team in all our authenticity:
Behind the scenes shenanigans
We definitely know how to have a bit of fun in our office, whether it be decorating a desk for a birthday, hiding someones favourite glass (yes, someone has a favourite glass here!), playing tricks on each other, etc. All of these things make for great content for newsletters, blogs and social posts. And don’t tell us you don’t have your own quirky moments in your office!
Fun facts
In our office we are all the same star sign, three of us have birthdays in the same week and we are all the exact same shoe size too! Always up for swapsies if a walk is required or a client drops in unexpectedly… not as gross as it sounds.
There are so many more fun facts to unpack, but this gives you a starting point of what might be interesting to share to your audience.
Successes
A little more serious, but equally as interesting, we love to share successes. With ‘tall poppy syndrome’ going around, it’s sometimes pretty difficult to stand up and brag a little bit, but we challenge you to give it a go. For example, when clients reach out to say thanks and how happy they are about their marketing results, when a photo we have taken photo is published, or even when we have achieved one of our own internal business goals. Don’t be afraid to shout your successes from the rooftops. Don’t worry, we’ll give you a Like!
Pets and food
In our office we often have staff dogs, cats, or even a chicken (on the balcony) visit us for the day. Animals can so easily become content for a social media post - the office dog helping pack a box, or chook keeping an eye on couriers arriving, etc.
Likewise, we get a lot of interaction on our posts about food. We are lucky enough to have a kitchen in our office, so we are able to regularly bake muffins, scones and biscuits for client meetings (or just because we are hungry!) and we also have shared lunches on occasions.
